How to download a Lloyds Bank statement
Lloyds Bank statements: the app’s three-dot menu, Statement options in online banking, 7 years online, at least ten in the app, and the business CSV or QIF export.
Lloyds Bank puts Statement options on the account page in online banking and a three-dot menu in its app. This guide follows both routes, then the period the bank gives for each, the search page for everyday banking, and the CSV or QIF export that Lloyds lists on a separate Business Banking page.
The app and online banking
Lloyds Bank’s page on downloading statements opens with “View your statement, save it as a PDF or print a copy.” For the app it says “Log in and select the account you want to view. Then select the three-dot menu.” and “Select ’Download or print statement’ to save or print.” For online banking it says “Log in and select ’Statement options’ from your account page.” and “Choose to print, download or order a paper copy.” Source: Lloyds Bank, Download statements, www.lloydsbank.com/help-guidance/everyday-banking/statements/download-statements.html, accessed 10 October 2026.
- 1In the app, log in and select the account you want to view.
- 2Select the three-dot menu.
- 3Select Download or print statement to save or print.
- 4In online banking, log in and select Statement options from your account page.
- 5Choose to print, download or order a paper copy.
Seven years online, at least ten in the app
The same page sets a period for each channel: “In online banking, you can access statements up to 7 years old. In our app, you can go back at least ten years.” The two differ, so an old statement that online banking no longer lists may still be in the app. Source: Lloyds Bank, Download statements, www.lloydsbank.com/help-guidance/everyday-banking/statements/download-statements.html, accessed 10 October 2026.
Searching transactions on screen
A second Lloyds Bank page covers the search. It reads “Select 'Search' and you can search by description or amount. You can also select a date range and filter by transaction type.” That finds a payment on screen; the statement saved from the app or online banking is still the file to upload. Lloyds Business Banking: an export of its own
Lloyds Business Banking has a page called “View your bank statements”. It asks “Can I export my transactions in CSV or QIF?” and answers with “Log in to Online for Business.”, “Select 'Statement' options.” and “Go to 'Export transactions (CSV, QIF)'.” For searching it gives one period for the newer design of the service and another for the older: “You can search by date, amount or the type of transaction going back up to 12 months.” and “You can search by date, description or the type of transaction over a three-month period.” The export is a Business Banking feature; a statement saved from the app or online banking is what ExtractPro converts. From the Lloyds Bank PDF to Excel
Upload the PDF you saved from Lloyds Bank without opening or editing it. What returns is a workbook in which every transaction has a row, the date, the description and the amount fill separate columns, amounts are stored as numbers, and a balance column is included when the statement shows it. A password, if the file has one, is typed during the upload.
A quick audit helps: the final figure in the balance column should be the figure the Lloyds Bank statement ends on, and the number of rows should equal the number of payments in and out it lists. The Lloyds Bank page on ExtractPro:

Frequently asked questions
Can I filter Lloyds Bank transactions by date range on screen?
Yes. The search page says “You can also select a date range and filter by transaction type.” A statement is the separate file you save from the app or from online banking.
Does the Lloyds Bank app only download, or can it print too?
The menu option reads “Download or print statement”, and the page opens with “View your statement, save it as a PDF or print a copy.”
What happens to the balance column when I convert a Lloyds Bank PDF?
ExtractPro adds a balance column when the statement shows it, so a statement without one gives a workbook without one.
