Convert your bank statement to Excel for bank reconciliation
Add the statement you have just received, or one from further back, in PDF or Excel format, and ExtractPro returns a workbook in which every transaction from your Irish bank has a row of its own.
Secure
Your bank statements aren't shared with anyone and are encrypted in transit. Password-protected PDFs open in your browser. How we handle your files
Built for firms
For accountants and bookkeepers who reconcile accounts every month: one transaction per row and the same columns every time.
Accurate
We keep improving how each bank converts. If a file doesn't convert the way you expected, email us at support@extractpro.app and we'll fix it.
Process
How it works
From your bank statement to an Excel file with one transaction per row, in 3 steps and without re-typing a single transaction.
Upload your statement
The PDF or Excel file of your bank statement. Nothing to install.
We organise it
Each transaction gets its date, description and amount in separate columns (and the balance, when the statement shows it).
Download the Excel file
With amounts as numbers, for bank reconciliation in your spreadsheet or accounting software.
What your Excel file contains
You upload your bank statement, as a PDF or an Excel file, and download an .xlsx file with the transactions for the period.
One transaction per row
Each transaction on the statement gets its own row, with date, description and amount.
Amounts as numbers
Amounts come out as numbers, so you can add them up or filter them.
Dates as dates
Dates come out as Excel dates, so you can sort or filter by period.
Your file is not shared
We process the file and keep a copy for a limited time for support and to improve conversion; it isn't shared with anyone.

Frequently asked questions
About where to find your statement, how far back each bank goes, what lies outside the export window, your data and the plans. If anything is still unclear, email us.
Yes. These are the steps and file formats of three Irish banks, each taken from the bank’s own help pages. For AIB in the app, the steps are “Log in to the app” and “Tap ‘Statements’”, then tap the statement you want to download using “the download icon in the top right hand corner of the screen”. For AIB on the web, in AIB Internet Banking, “Click on Accounts, select Statements and Fees, and click on Statements”. AIB says your statement will be presented “in Adobe PDF format”. For Bank of Ireland, log in on the Bank of Ireland App, then “Tap an account to enter transactions screen” and “Select ‘Statements’”. Bank of Ireland says you can “Choose a statement to open or save to your device”, and that its electronic version of your account statement is “in PDF format”. For PTSB in the app, the steps are “Log in to the PTSB App”, “Select eStatements”, “Select the account you want to view” and “Select the statement you wish to download and click the download icon”. PTSB says you will be able to view your statement “as a PDF on your mobile device”. For PTSB in Open24 Online Banking, the steps are “Log in to your Open24 Online Banking”, “Select View more transactions”, “Select the Statements tab” and “Select View eStatements”. If what you downloaded is a PDF or an Excel file (.xlsx, .xls), upload it to ExtractPro and you get back an Excel file with one transaction per row.
