FAQ

About Bank of Ireland statements

01

Does ExtractPro accept a Bank of Ireland statement saved as a PDF?

Yes. Bank of Ireland says “A PDF will open on your phone. You can then use your phone's settings to print or save your statement.” Save the file and upload it unchanged; the spreadsheet that comes back has a row for each transaction and amounts you can add up.

02

How long does Bank of Ireland keep statements, and can I order an up-to-date one?

Bank of Ireland says “Your eStatements will remain visible online for 7 years for open accounts. Your account statements remain available for 7 years after you close your account which can be ordered as duplicate statements.” It also says “If you order your up-to-date eStatement online before 3:30pm on a working day, the statement will be produced overnight and ready to download on the Upgraded Bank of Ireland App or 365 online.”

03

Can Bank of Ireland transactions be exported, and how far back does the file go?

Bank of Ireland says “Alternatively you can export your transaction history as a CSV file using 365 online.” and “For Credit Card transactions there is currently not an option to export your transaction.” The Bank of Ireland page on exporting transactions does not say how far back the file goes, so keep the PDFs you download.
