From the bank statement in your inbox to Excel for you to sort and total
For a Savings Account or Current Account in India, the file in front of you may be a password-protected PDF, or one a client forwarded to you. Upload it, whether it is a PDF or an Excel file, and the workbook you download lists the transactions line by line.
Secure
Your bank statements aren't shared with anyone and are encrypted in transit. Password-protected PDFs open in your browser. How we handle your files
Built for firms
For accountants and bookkeepers who reconcile accounts every month: one transaction per row and the same columns every time.
Accurate
We keep improving how each bank converts. If a file doesn't convert the way you expected, email us at support@extractpro.app and we'll fix it.
Process
How it works
What lands in your inbox takes three steps to become a workbook, and nothing keyed in twice.
Upload your statement
Choose the PDF or Excel file, whichever your client or your bank handed over. Nothing to install.
It becomes a table
A plain table takes shape, a transaction on every line: date, description and amount each get a column, and the balance a fourth whenever the statement carries one.
Download the workbook
You get one workbook for the statement. Add columns of your own beside the transactions, such as a ledger code or a note for the client, and carry on in Excel.
What your Excel file contains
Each statement you add comes back as its own .xlsx file, with the transactions listed in rows.
One transaction per row
Each transaction on the statement gets its own row, with date, description and amount.
Amounts as numbers
Amounts come out as numbers, so you can add them up or filter them.
Dates as dates
Dates come out as Excel dates, so you can sort or filter by period.
Your file is not shared
We process the file and keep a copy for a limited time for support and to improve conversion; it isn't shared with anyone.
