How to download an Axis Bank statement
Axis Bank’s four ways to get a statement, the Select Format step, the three years for current accounts and the page that gives the e-statement password.
Three Axis Bank pages matter for a statement: a help page with the ways to ask for one, the e-Statements page with a window for current accounts, and a page on opening an e-statement that carries a password rule.
Four ways to ask
The first channel starts on axis.bank.in/Support and goes through “Click on Insta Services > Click on Statements> Savings and Agri Account> Enter Registered Mobile Number And Customer ID > Enter OTP > Select Account > Select Duration > Statement will be sent on registered email id”. The second is an SMS, written with “Dates in DD-MM-YYYY format” and sent “from your registered mobile number”. The third is the app: “Home > Click on Account > Select Account > Select View Statement / Email Statement”. The window for current accounts
The e-Statements page has a section for current account customers, and its note there reads “Bank statements for the past 3 years can be accessed via internet and mobile banking. For older statements, kindly visit your nearest branch.” The same section promises “Protect your confidential data with password protected e-Statements”. The password rule and its page
Axis Bank states how to open an e-statement on a page that its help site files under credit cards: the path reads “Cards > Credit Cards > Statements > How do I open an estatement”. Under “Steps to open e-statement as listed below:” the rule is “Your password is a combination of four letters of your name in UPPER CASE (as it appears on your Account Statement (Ignore spaces and periods, if any) and four digits of your date of birth”, with an alternative, “Your alternative password is a combination of four letters of your name in UPPER CASE (as it appears on your Account Statement (Ignore spaces and periods, if any) and the nine digits of your customer Id”. Either password is entered when the file is uploaded.
The Axis Bank file in ExtractPro
A statement from Internet Banking, from the email route or from a client goes into ExtractPro as it stands. In the .xlsx that returns every line is one transaction, the date, the description and the amount take a column apiece, the amounts can be summed, and a balance column follows when the statement shows one.
