How to download a DBS Singapore bank statement

DBS Singapore eStatements: the eDocuments route in digibank, the seven years DBS says it keeps them from enrolment, the six months of history on screen, and the PDF.

Once you are in digibank, DBS Singapore keeps your statements under eDocuments. This guide follows the route DBS describes, the period it says eStatements are kept, the shorter history on the transactions page, and what to do with the file after you have saved it.

The route through digibank Online

DBS’s help page on viewing eStatements gives four steps: “Step 1 Log in to digibank Online with your User ID & PIN. 2 Step 2 Complete the Authentication Process. 3 Step 3 Under Home scroll down under eDocuments click to view the latest eStatement or click Show All. 4 Step 4 Select either eStatements or eAdvice, filter by your statement type and year and click to download your preferred statement/ eAdvice.” Source: DBS Singapore, View your eStatements and eAdvices, www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-statements-viewing-estatements.html, accessed 8 October 2026.

  1. 1Log in to digibank Online with your User ID and PIN.
  2. 2Complete the authentication process.
  3. 3Under Home, scroll down to eDocuments and click to view the latest eStatement, or click Show All.
  4. 4Select eStatements or eAdvice, filter by statement type and year, and click to download the statement you want.
  5. 5DBS says the eStatement is in PDF format: that is the file to upload to ExtractPro.

In the mobile app

The same page lists a route for the app. Two of its lines are “Tap on More at the bottom of the navigation bar and under Quick Access or Other Services, tap on eDocuments.” and “Tap onto the download icon to view statement.” Source: DBS Singapore, View your eStatements and eAdvices, www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-statements-viewing-estatements.html, accessed 8 October 2026.

How long DBS keeps them

DBS writes: “eStatements are kept for 7 years from the date of your enrolment.” For a closed account, “the past months' eStatements prior to the account closure will still be available for viewing.” Its iBanking help page words the monthly and quarterly cases separately: “For monthly statements of accounts, you can view eStatement up to the past 7 years. For quarterly statements of accounts, you can view eStatement up to the past 5 quarters.” Source: DBS Singapore, View your eStatements and eAdvices, www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-statements-viewing-estatements.html, and eStatement help, www.dbs.com.sg/ibanking/help/estatement.html, accessed 8 October 2026.

The transactions page stops at six months

DBS’s page on account transactions sets a shorter reach than the eStatements do: “You may view up to past 6 months of transaction history”. It also says “If you wish to share your transaction details, click on the Download icon at the top right.” For earlier periods it points to the statements: “You can view your eStatements and eAdvices for transactions that are more than 6 months ago.” Source: DBS Singapore, account transactions, www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-deposit-accounts-account-transactions.html, accessed 8 October 2026.

DBS IDEAL for business accounts

Business customers using DBS IDEAL have a page of their own, marked “Last updated: Nov 2024”. For a report of transactions it says: “To download a report of the transactions, select Export. Choose either Microsoft Excel (.xls) or PDF as your export format.” For statements it says “You can view up to 7 years of account statements.” A report and a statement are different things; the statement is what goes into ExtractPro. From the DBS PDF to Excel

DBS states the format on its eStatement page: “You need to install an Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the eStatement which is in PDF format.” Source: DBS Singapore, View your eStatements and eAdvices, www.dbs.com.sg/personal/support/bank-statements-viewing-estatements.html, accessed 8 October 2026.

Upload that PDF exactly as DBS gave it. ExtractPro returns an .xlsx with one transaction on each row, the date, description and amount in separate columns, the balance as well when the eStatement shows it, and every amount held as a number. If the file asks for a password, type it during the upload; the unlocking is done in your browser.

To check the result, put the workbook’s closing balance next to the one printed on the eStatement, and count its rows against the transactions listed there. The DBS Singapore page on ExtractPro:

Frequently asked questions

Does DBS keep the eStatements of an account I have closed?

Yes, for the months before the closure. DBS writes: “For closed accounts, the past months' eStatements prior to the account closure will still be available for viewing.” Save the ones you need and upload them as they are.

Are daily or weekly DBS statements available as eStatements?

DBS’s eStatement help says “Ad-hoc, daily and weekly statements of the enrolled account(s) will remain paper-based.” In the same help, monthly statements can be viewed for up to the past 7 years and quarterly ones for up to the past 5 quarters.

How do I know the workbook matches my DBS eStatement?

Open both side by side. The closing balance in the workbook should be the one the eStatement ends on, and the number of rows should equal the number of transactions it lists.
