How to download a BEA bank statement
BEA Online shows e-Statements in PDF format for up to seven years. The personal route, the Corporate Online route and the 20-page limit on business downloads.
BEA, The Bank of East Asia, calls its statements e-Statements and shows them in BEA Online. Personal customers and business users follow different routes, and the business one has a limit on how many pages a download can hold. Both are set out below.
Personal customers in BEA Online
The route is in BEA’s cyberbanking FAQ: “Log in to BEA Online and select "Accounts Services", then select "View e-Statement / e-Advice" from the menu on the left.” The FAQ describes the service as a way “to view your account statements and transaction details in PDF format via BEA Online”. - 1Log in to BEA Online.
- 2Select Accounts Services.
- 3Select View e-Statement / e-Advice from the menu on the left.
- 4BEA says the e-Statement is in PDF format: that PDF is the file to upload to ExtractPro.
How far back
In the same FAQ, BEA answers how long past e-statements are retained: “You can access and view e-statements for the following accounts for up to the past seven years through BEA Online”. The sentence refers to “the following accounts”, so check the list on BEA’s page for yours.
Business users in BEA Corporate Online
Business users have their own guide, marked (04/2026). It names who can use the service: “Authorised and registered users can search, view, and download available e-Statements from the last 7 years (PDF statement downloads are restricted to 20 pages at a time).” The menu route is “Menu > e-Statement/e-Advice > View e-Statements”, and the file is saved as the guide describes: “save the e-Statement to your local drive in PDF format”. A long e-Statement comes in ranges
When a statement runs past 20 pages, the guide tells the user to “select a 20-page range from the Page Range dropdown if the statement exceeds 20 pages”. That makes a long statement several files. Keep them together and in order, so that at the end you can set the transactions of the whole statement against the workbook.
From the BEA PDF to Excel
Upload the BEA PDF as saved. ExtractPro returns an .xlsx in which each transaction sits on a row of its own, the date, description and amount are in different columns, the balance is added when the e-Statement shows it, and the amounts are numbers you can add up.
