How do you convert your BNZ bank statement to Excel?

When the BNZ statement you save is a PDF, ExtractPro converts it into an Excel file (.xlsx) with a row for each transaction and the date, description and amount in their own columns (and the balance, when the statement shows it). In BNZ Internet Banking the statements sit under Menu and then Documents, and the last step is “To save the statement, click on Download.” For business accounts, BNZ’s page on online statements adds that you can “find and download a PDF copy of a statement”. BNZ is at bnz.co.nz.

How to download your BNZ bank statement

  1. Log in to BNZ Internet Banking.
  2. From the main page, click Menu and select Documents.
  3. Click Statements, select an account and click the statement you want to view.
  4. Click Download: the statement saves to your downloads folder, and if it is a PDF, that is the file to upload to ExtractPro.
