How do you convert your TSB bank statement to Excel?

ExtractPro converts a TSB statement PDF into an Excel file (.xlsx), one transaction per row, with the date, description and amount in separate columns (and the balance, when the statement shows it). In TSB online banking “Your statement will open in a pdf to view”, and TSB lets you “Review up to 12 months of past statements.” TSB is at tsb.co.nz. A merger of TSB with Heartland Bank has been proposed and is covered in the third question.

FAQ

About TSB statements

01

Will a statement from TSB online banking work in ExtractPro?

Yes. TSB opens the statement as a pdf, and that file is what ExtractPro reads before returning an Excel sheet with every transaction on a line of its own.

02

How far back do TSB statements go in online banking?

TSB says: “You can view your last 12 months of statements in online banking.” It also describes a way to see more: “click All Years on the right to view all statements”.

03

Is TSB merging with Heartland Bank?

A merger has been proposed, and it is not complete. Heartland said on 2 June 2026 that “Immediately following the acquisition, Heartland Bank and TSB will merge to create TSB Heartland Bank Limited (TSB Heartland Bank).” and that the merger is “targeting completion in December 2026”. An NZX announcement dated 1 October 2026 reports the vote of Heartland’s shareholders and says “Completion of the Proposed Transaction remains subject to satisfaction of the remaining conditions”, including “receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals”.
