Terms of service

1. Acceptance of the terms

By accessing and using ExtractPro ("the Service"), you accept these terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

ExtractPro is a web tool that converts bank statements in PDF format into Excel and into the formats that different accounting programs accept. The Service processes files automatically and produces a normalized file for immediate download. When the converter is not calibrated for an institution yet, the file is received as a sample and we let you know once the conversion is available.

3. User accounts

To use the Service you need to create an account, either with Google Sign-In or through an access link sent to your email (magic link). You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything that happens under it.

4. Acceptable use

The Service is meant only for processing bank statements for legitimate accounting purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for illegal or fraudulent activity.
• Attempt to access other users' data.
• Overload the Service with bulk automated requests.
• Modify, decompile or reverse-engineer the software.

5. Plans and billing

ExtractPro offers a free plan with a monthly conversion limit and paid plans with a monthly quota according to the plan you buy. The current quotas are listed on the pricing page and reset every calendar month. Prices may change with 30 days of prior notice.

Renewal and cancellation: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time from your account: cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access to your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. Once that period ends, the account goes back to the free plan.

Refunds: we do not refund periods already billed or quota you did not use. The free plan exists precisely so that you can try the Service with your own files before you buy. If you had a billing problem or a charge you do not recognize, write to us at support@extractpro.app and we will look into it.

6. File processing

Uploaded files are processed automatically. We store metadata for each conversion (file name, detected bank or format, number of rows, status) for your history and for running the Service, and we keep copies of processed files in private storage for a limited time, as a calibration sample and for quality control and support. These files are not shared with third parties and are not used for any other purpose. You can ask us to delete them by writing to the contact in section 9.

7. Limitation of liability

ExtractPro is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that file processing is free of errors. It is the user's responsibility to check that the converted data is accurate before using it in their bookkeeping. We are not liable for accounting errors that result from using the Service.

8. Changes

We may change these terms. If the change is material, we will tell you by email or with a notice inside the Service at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after that period means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of United States, including Applicable state privacy laws (e.g. the California Consumer Privacy Act, CCPA/CPRA) as far as your personal data is concerned. Any dispute will be settled before the competent courts of United States, without prejudice to the rights that local consumer legislation grants you and that cannot be waived.
