How do you convert your Virgin Money bank statement to Excel?

ExtractPro turns a Virgin Money bank statement into an Excel file (.xlsx), putting each transaction on its own row and the date, description and amount in separate columns, along with the balance when the statement shows it. Virgin Money’s help page describes the statement as an attachment: “Select the 'Retail Statements' attachment to download it”. Virgin Money UK is at uk.virginmoney.com.

FAQ

About Virgin Money statements

01

Does a Virgin Money statement from Secure messages work in ExtractPro?

Yes. Virgin Money says “Select the 'Retail Statements' attachment to download it”: in the Virgin Money app that is under New statement, on the web in Secure messages. Download it, then upload that file: the result is a spreadsheet with a separate row per transaction.

02

What window of official statements does Virgin Money offer?

Virgin Money says “Official statements from the last 12 months are available. If you need more than one month you can download each one individually.” Each month is a separate file to upload, and Virgin Money’s page does not say how to get statements older than that window, so keep the statements you download.

03

Is Virgin Money now part of Nationwide, and does my statement change?

The Virgin Money UK site says “Virgin Money is now part of Nationwide”, and Nationwide’s results presentation says “Customer migrations to Nationwide brand will commence in 2026”. A statement you download from Virgin Money today is the one to upload.
