Trinidad and Tobago bank statements to Excel
What Republic Bank, First Citizens, Scotiabank and RBC say on their own pages about the history a statement holds, and the route from the file to Excel.
A First Citizens eStatement is asked for one month at a time, the Scotia Caribbean App lists deposit statements by month, Republic Bank sends personal customers to Republic Online and the Republic Mobile App for e-statements, and RBC’s page speaks for the whole Caribbean region. Anyone gathering a year of statements from these banks may end up holding a series of separate files. Below, each bank’s page is set out with its source, followed by a link to every bank’s page on ExtractPro.
What each bank says about the history it keeps
- Republic Bank: its paperless page says “we would no longer be providing paper statements to our personal customers”. The 18 months on its RepublicOnline page belong to business users of Corporate Republic Online: “View and download account statements for the last 18 months”.
- First Citizens: “For deposit accounts: You can access up to one hundred (100) transactions per month over a 12-month period.”
- Scotiabank Trinidad & Tobago: in the Scotia Caribbean App, “You can view your deposit account statements for up to 13 months.”
- RBC Trinidad & Tobago: its Caribbean page says “Savings, Banking/Chequing and Credit Card accounts eStatements are accessible starting from 2016, 2017 or 2018 up to 10 years on a go-forward basis, depending on the jurisdiction.”

Two pages that speak of paper
Republic Bank’s page says “we would no longer be providing paper statements to our personal customers”. RBC’s Caribbean page lists Trinidad and Tobago among the places where the statement option of a chequing account cannot be changed: “You can change statement option for Savings & Credit Card accounts but not for Chequing accounts in Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Cayman Islands, Bahamas and Turks & Caicos”. It adds “Paper statements for Banking/Chequing accounts will continue to be mailed unless your statement preference is set to ‘Electronic’.” Source: We're going paperless | Republic Bank, republictt.com/we-are-going-paperless; RBC EStatements - RBC Royal Bank, www.rbcroyalbank.com/caribbean/digital-hub/estatements.html, accessed 14 October 2026.
The banks of Trinidad and Tobago on ExtractPro
One link per bank follows. The page behind each begins with what that bank says about statements and goes on to the questions about uploading a file:
From a series of files to spreadsheets
When the history comes as a file for each month, every month is uploaded as its own file and returns as a workbook of its own. In each, a transaction has a row of its own, the date, the description and the amount sit in separate columns, the amounts are numbers, and a balance column appears when the statement shows one. The custom format writes a CSV instead.
QuickBooks Online users have a guide of their own: it covers the custom format options and the steps for loading a CSV. Read each workbook against its own statement before the months are joined: the transaction count first, then the closing balance, where one is printed.
