How to download a First Citizens statement
First Citizens eStatements: the Download Account Activity steps, the 12 months and 100 transactions a month the bank gives, and its line on an official statement.
First Citizens’ eStatement page for Trinidad and Tobago turns on one form in Online Banking: an account, a stretch of dates and a format. This guide goes through the form, then the history the bank says an eStatement holds, the route for anything older, and the page’s own line on whether the file counts as an official statement.
The form in Online Banking
It also says “Monthly Deposit Account eStatements are downloadable via your Online Banking.” Its steps start at the My Services tab and end at the Submit button, and the dates come with a limit: “Select the Start and End Dates (one month at a time e.g. to retrieve history for January 2024, please enter 1st January to 31st January 2024)”. The 12 months and the 100 transactions
On how much history an eStatement holds, the page’s question “What period of statement history can I access via my eStatements?” is answered “For deposit accounts: You can access up to one hundred (100) transactions per month over a 12-month period.” For anything older it says “If there is a need to obtain a longer statement history, please visit any of our conveniently located Branches for assistance. Fees may apply.” Source: First Citizens Electronic Statements (eStatement) - Trinidad and Tobago, www.firstcitizensgroup.com/tt/personal-banking/first-citizens-electronic-statements-estatement/, accessed 14 October 2026.
Whether the file is an official statement
The page asks “Is my eStatement an official bank statement?” and answers for the version in PDF: “is an official bank statement.” It also names the accounts and the place: “You can access eStatements for both deposit your Savings or Chequing accounts.” and “You can access eStatements via First Citizens Online Banking only.” Source: First Citizens Electronic Statements (eStatement) - Trinidad and Tobago, www.firstcitizensgroup.com/tt/personal-banking/first-citizens-electronic-statements-estatement/, accessed 14 October 2026.
From the First Citizens PDF to Excel
The PDF that the form produces is the file to upload, like any PDF a client forwards. The workbook that ExtractPro sends back lists one transaction per row, keeps date, description and amount in separate columns, holds each amount as a number and carries a balance column too when the statement shows one.
The form is set to one month at a time, so a longer period arrives as a series of files. For each one, line up the rows with the transactions on its statement, and the final balance with the closing balance where one is printed. First Citizens has a page on ExtractPro:
