How to download a Dubai Islamic Bank statement
The Dubai Islamic Bank Online Banking guide to an account statement, and the Interactive e-Statement with its embedded PDF, its protection and its cost.
Dubai Islamic Bank publishes a guide for obtaining an account statement through Online Banking, and its e-statement page describes the Interactive e-Statement that reaches you by email. Both are set out here as the bank words them, before the route to Excel.
Online Banking: the PDF icon
The guide is titled “How to obtain account statement through Online Banking”, and its last step reads “Click on the PDF icon to download the statement”. The four steps are below. The Interactive e-Statement
On its e-statement page the bank describes the document as “a consolidated summary of your Accounts, Deposits, Wala’a Dirhams, Finances and Cards”. It adds “Interactive eStatement is password protected and is delivered to the registered email address.” and “Yes, you can download the PDF version of the e-Statement embedded within the Interactive e-Statement & print it through the printer connected to your device.” Source: E-Statement Facility | Banking on the go | DIB, dib.ae/alt/banking-on-the-go/e-statement-facility, accessed 12 October 2026.
On printing and cost, the same page says “Interactive e-Statement when printed will be same as your paper statement and can be downloaded, saved and printed as required.” and “There are no fee/charges applicable.” Source: E-Statement Facility | Banking on the go | DIB, dib.ae/alt/banking-on-the-go/e-statement-facility, accessed 12 October 2026.
From the Dubai Islamic Bank statement to Excel
The file from the PDF icon, or the PDF taken out of the Interactive e-Statement, goes into ExtractPro as it is. The workbook has one row per transaction with date, description and amount apart, amounts as numbers, and a balance column as well when the statement shows it.
Finish by holding the workbook up to the statement. Its rows should add up to the transactions listed, and its final balance should be the statement’s closing balance, if one is printed. Dubai Islamic Bank has a page on ExtractPro:

Frequently asked questions
Should I upload the Online Banking download or the Interactive e-Statement?
Either, so long as what you hold is a statement as a PDF or an Excel file (.xlsx, .xls). The Online Banking guide ends with the PDF icon, and the e-statement page says the PDF version is “embedded within the Interactive e-Statement”.
What does the Interactive e-Statement cover?
The bank calls it “a consolidated summary of your Accounts, Deposits, Wala’a Dirhams, Finances and Cards”. Convert it, then read the workbook against the section of the statement that you need.
What if the Dubai Islamic Bank file is protected?
The bank says the Interactive e-Statement “is password protected”. Put the password in when ExtractPro asks for it during the upload, and the file is opened in your browser before the Excel file is made.
