TD Canada Trust describes its online statements on two EasyWeb pages. One gives the numbered route, the other speaks of viewing, downloading and printing. This guide sets out the route, the two controls on the statement list, the file TD says opens, and the seven years that both pages mention.

The route in EasyWeb

TD’s page on accessing online statements begins at the top of the screen: “At the top of the screen, select where it shows the name on the account and select Statements and Documents.” Source: How to access online statements on EasyWeb, www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/how-to/easy-web/access-online-statement, accessed 8 October 2026.

  1. 1At the top of the screen, select where it shows the name on the account and select “Statements and Documents”.
  2. 2Use the “Get statements & documents by account” dropdown menu to choose the account.
  3. 3For the period you wish to view, make a selection using the “Filter by year” dropdown.
  4. 4To open any statement, simply select it: it appears as a PDF file in an overlay.

The file that opens

On what appears after you select a statement, TD says “You'll see your statement, as a PDF file, appear within an overlay that will open.” That PDF file is the one to upload to ExtractPro. Two controls on the list

The page names a control for the account and another for the period: “use the Get statements & documents by account dropdown menu to make a selection” and “make a selection using the Filter by year dropdown”. Once the list is narrowed down, the last line applies: “To open any statement, simply select it.” Source: How to access online statements on EasyWeb, www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/how-to/easy-web/access-online-statement, accessed 8 October 2026.

Seven years online

The first page puts the period as “You can access up to 7 years of past statements online.” TD’s page on EasyWeb online banking statements repeats it in other words, “Access up to seven years of online statements from the time you switch.”, and adds “View, download or print your online statements 24/7.” Source: How to access online statements on EasyWeb, www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/how-to/easy-web/access-online-statement; Switch to Monthly Online Statements on EasyWeb | TD Canada Trust, www.td.com/ca/en/personal-banking/advice/day-to-day-banking/easyweb-online-banking-statements, accessed 8 October 2026.

From the TD Canada Trust PDF to Excel

Upload the PDF that EasyWeb displayed, untouched. In the .xlsx you receive every transaction is a row, date and description and amount are separate columns, the amounts are numeric, and a balance column is added if the statement shows one.

Then compare the two. The row count should agree with the transaction count, and where the statement prints a closing balance the last row of the sheet should end on the same figure. TD Canada Trust has a page on ExtractPro:
