How to download a Hong Leong Bank statement
The Hong Leong Bank statement route in HLB Connect and in the HLB Connect App, from the bank’s 2021 statements FAQ, and the step to an Excel workbook.
Hong Leong Bank wrote down where its statements live in a 2021 document, the Deposits/-i - Statements FAQ. It names a menu in HLB Connect on the web and a path inside the HLB Connect App. This guide follows both, then explains what to do with the file you end up holding.
The menu in HLB Connect
After logging in, the FAQ sends you to the statement menu: “Click “Statement/Invoices” > “Online Statement””. Each account then has its own download button, and the app route is the last line of the list below. What the workbook holds
Once uploaded, the statement comes back as an .xlsx workbook. Every transaction lands on a line of its own, split into date, description and amount, the amounts stored as numbers you can sum, and a balance column is added when the statement shows it.
Before relying on it, count the lines against the transactions printed by the bank and set the last balance beside the statement’s own. The Hong Leong Bank landing on ExtractPro is here:

Frequently asked questions
Can I take the Hong Leong Bank statement from the app rather than the website?
Yes. The final step on the FAQ’s list is for the HLB Connect App: select “CASA Overview”, choose the account, then click “Statements” > “Download”. The saved copy goes into ExtractPro exactly like a download from the web.
Does Hong Leong Bank still post paper statements for personal deposits?
Not since late 2021. The FAQ says “Effective 1 November 2021, we will no longer be sending Hardcopy Statements for all Personal Banking Deposits/-i - products.” and, for companies, “Business Banking Deposits/-i accounts are not impacted.”
Which file from HLB Connect should I upload?
The one you get from “Download Statement” on the account you picked, or a copy a client forwards to you. It goes in unchanged; there is nothing to prepare first.
