How to download a Public Bank statement
Public Bank E-Statements in MyPB: the menu route, the past 24 months the bank mentions, the paper charge and the registration default.
Public Bank’s online banking help puts the statement in MyPB into a single FAQ: a menu route, a window of months, a charge for paper and a rule about registration. This guide sets out the route, then each of those points in the bank’s wording, and ends with the way to Excel.
The route in MyPB
The FAQ is headed “How do I download and print my e-statements in MyPB?” Its route goes through the side menu to Accounts and then Statement, and two of its lines cover the account and the month: “Select your preferred account in the dropdown list.” and “Click on the hyperlink of the statement month to open your statement.” Source: Accounts (Statement), pbebank.com/en/digital-banking/pbe-online-banking/faq/mypb/accounts-statement/, accessed 14 October 2026.
- 1In MyPB, open the side menu and click “Accounts”.
- 2Click “Statement”, then “View E-Statement”.
- 3Select your preferred account in the dropdown list.
- 4Click the hyperlink of the statement month to open your statement.
- 5Use the “Save” button to download the statement.
The past 24 months, and a preset interval
Public Bank states the look-back as “You can view the past 24 months’ records, however, the e-statements are generated on the preset interval based on the account type.” Its table pairs “Savings and Current Account” with “Monthly”. Paper, and the registration default
For a paper copy the page gives a charge for a current account: “For Current Account: RM12.00 per request and RM0.60 per page”. About the e-statement itself it says “Account opened as statement account is registered to e-statement function by default and does not allow to deregister e-statement.” Source: Accounts (Statement), pbebank.com/en/digital-banking/pbe-online-banking/faq/mypb/accounts-statement/, accessed 14 October 2026.
From the Public Bank statement to Excel
Take the statement as MyPB gives it to you, or as a client sends it, and upload it. The workbook that returns has one row per transaction, with the date, the description and the amount in separate columns, amounts held as numbers, and a balance column as well if the statement shows one.
Reconcile the sheet with the statement before using it, rows against the number of transactions first, then the final balance against the closing balance if one is printed. Public Bank has a page on ExtractPro:

Frequently asked questions
How do I open the statement for a given month in MyPB?
MyPB’s page puts the account first, “Select your preferred account in the dropdown list.”, and the month second, “Click on the hyperlink of the statement month to open your statement.” Its last line offers the “Save” button to download the statement or the “Print” button to proceed. The saved file is what you upload.
Can an account opened as a statement account switch off the e-statement?
The page says “Account opened as statement account is registered to e-statement function by default and does not allow to deregister e-statement.” That line sits on the same page as the route to the statement, and the statement you find there is the file to upload.
Are all Public Bank statements monthly?
The page says the e-statements are “generated on the preset interval based on the account type”, and its table gives “Monthly” for “Savings and Current Account”. Whatever the interval, the statement you hold goes into ExtractPro as it is.
