UOB Malaysia keeps its e-Statement behind the Overview menu of Personal Internet Banking, and picking an account and a month is what sets the download going. Below is that sequence as the bank’s page lists it, a word on customers with several accounts, and then the move to Excel.

From Overview to the downloaded file

The bank’s e-Statement page describes the key moment as “Select account & statement month and starts downloading e-Statement”, after you have chosen e-Statement from the Overview drop-down. One statement for several accounts

UOB Malaysia also says “Where customers have more than one account with UOB, the monthly e-Statement will be consolidated into one single e-statement.” A customer with two accounts therefore downloads one file for the month, not two. From the e-Statement to Excel

What you get back is an Excel file in which the transactions are listed one under another, each split across columns for the date, the narrative and the sum, plus the balance when the statement shows it.

Go through the result against the e-Statement: same number of entries, same final balance where one is printed. UOB Malaysia’s upload page:
