How to download an AmBank eStatement
AmBank’s FAQ gives the AmOnline route to an eStatement in one line: Account, View eStatement, then the cycle month. The four taps, and the step to Excel.
AmBank fits the route to its eStatement into a single line of its account FAQ, written for the AmOnline app. The answer is four taps long. Here they are one by one, followed by how the downloaded month turns into a spreadsheet and a few questions people ask about it.
Four taps in AmOnline
The FAQ reads “Go to AmOnline app > tap “Account” > tap “View eStatement” > tap on cycle month of the eStatement that you want to download.” The list below splits that sentence into its steps. Source: View Details, ambank.com.my/online-banking/faq/account, accessed 14 October 2026.

The month in a spreadsheet
ExtractPro reads the eStatement and writes each entry into a spreadsheet row: when it happened, what it says and how much, with the figures kept as numbers rather than text. A balance comes across as well, but only when the statement shows it.
Run two checks before using the rows: their count against the entries on the eStatement, then the closing figure against the bank’s. For AmBank, the ExtractPro page to upload from:

Frequently asked questions
How far back do AmBank eStatements go in AmOnline?
The account FAQ says “You can view and download your eStatement for up to 12 months.” Each month you open there is a separate file to upload.
Why use the eStatement rather than the AmBank transaction history?
Because the history is shorter. The FAQ says “You can only download past 1 month transaction history.” and, for older records, “If you need to download records older than past 1 month, please click on View eStatement to download eStatement.”
Does AmBank charge for the eStatement?
No. AmBank’s page on the service says “No, eStatement service is provided to you at no cost.” A copy from a branch is another matter, where the FAQ warns “Charges may apply.”
