Next, select 'Generate a statement' and enter your desired date range. … you'll be directed to 'My documents' page … Simply click the statement to download it.” Source: Heartland Bank: Mobile app how-to guides, www.heartland.co.nz/mobile-app/how-to-guides, accessed 7 October 2026.

The generated statement in Excel

The statement you generated becomes, in ExtractPro, a workbook covering the same date range: a row for each transaction, date, description and amount pulled into columns, and the balance kept when the statement shows it.

Confirm the number of rows and the last balance against what Heartland printed. Heartland’s page is the place to upload:

Frequently asked questions

Can every Heartland account generate a statement in the app?

Not every one. Heartland notes that “this is not available for Home Loan accounts”.

Is a Heartland transactions export the same as an e-statement?

No. Heartland says “An e-statement will be your typical full statement download”, while a transactional breakdown “would be what you get when you ‘export transactions’ from a specific account”.

Which dates does a generated Heartland statement cover?

The ones you enter in the date range after choosing Generate a statement; the file on My documents is built for that range.
