How do you convert your ING Australia bank statement to Excel?

ExtractPro takes the PDF statement that ING Australia issues and returns an Excel file (.xlsx) where every transaction has a row of its own, with date, description and amount in columns (and the balance, when the statement shows it). ING’s Help Hub describes the route in Online Banking: Statements, then View statements, an account and a period, and Find, after which the period “will be available to download your electronic statement as a PDF file”. For the days after the last statement, ING offers an Interim statement, and in the ING app the path starts at Manage and Statements. ING Australia trades as ING, at ing.com.au.

How to download your ING Australia bank statement

  1. Log in to ING Online Banking and, from the navigation menu, select Statements > View statements.
  2. Select the account and the period from the drop-down menu; for the days after your last statement, choose Interim statement.
  3. Click Find.
  4. Download the electronic statement as a PDF file and upload it to ExtractPro.

“From the navigation menu, select Statements > View statements · Select account and select period from the dropdown menu. You can also get a statement for a date later than your last available statement by selecting Interim statement (most recent statement). · Click Find and the statement period will be available to download your electronic statement as a PDF file”
